The radio just announced that today would have been John Wayne’s one-hundred-first birthday. I am going to go celebrate. I wish I could post a picture of my father today. He looked, spoke and walked much like my favorite actor. I miss him, my dad. Instead I am going to put up my flag and have a sip of bourbon.
