So Sunday evening Dirt and I left the farm, totin’ the stock trailer and we were off to the Peninsula and the Hood Canal, the Alderbrook Resort in Union, Washington. When we got to our room, and a wedding was going on outside our patio door so we decided to go check out the local Robin Hood Pub. More on the pub later this week when we return.
Yesterday evening I made Dirt get the bike out, go back down the highway to a familiar sign.
After I spent the day working out on the recumbent bike, swimming laps and loosening up in the Jacuzzi, I wanted Dirt to join me for another after dinner swim but he needed some shorts.
It was a nice bike ride
and as we headed back toward the resort we got a good look at how grand a spot we’re staying at.
The admenities here are something else. I can’t imagine a better reason for a greenhouse. It rained today but I still swam, and fell asleep pool side in the sun that peeked in and out of the rain.
I’m beginning to get water logged.
We had a good evening last night but tonight the sky was irresistible.
And the color was actully reflected in the pool. I hope you are having a restful night Dear Reader, even though I am in a strange bed, I am sleepin’ like a log. Perhaps tomorrow I’ll work on the web page.
looks like a touch of paradise to me – oh to fall asleep by a pool – no mosquitoes nobody wanting anything from me – ::sigh:::: enjoy it Lanny –
The pool looks lovely, but I would be lookin’ at the outdoor views! Have a restful time Lanny!

Web page ~ who cares about a web page when you and Dirt can relax and enjoy Paradise for a little while in spite of the rain? What a beautiful place and hopefully restful get-away! I know you both must be enjoying this respite.
It looks like a wonderful place to be. I hope you are having a good time. Wow–that sunset picture is really amazing!
