This week’s theme was my choice and the first word that came to my head was “missing”. Between raccoon kills, stitching up chickens, running a dog to a vet, seeding trays, making tea for seedlings, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera, I didn’t have the time I had hoped for to wander, camera in hand, for an artistic presentation of “missing”.
So instead of a plethora of snaps to put into the blog for prattling on about in an endless fashion, I have only one photo titled “Missing” and no explanation to go with it.
Go see what the others ( Dave, Fishing_Guy, Mac, and Gail’s Man) have for my silly choice of theme and perhaps by the end of the day I will have purchased a new computer cord so that I don’t have to hold the cord, browse and type at the same time.
Missing, this shot just shows what a hard winter ev1 has had this year, sure missing -Spring-Summer-Autumn.
Oh and a pint.lol.
Lanny: Good one, I had thought of taking a tree photo with the leaves missing. This certainly fills the bill for missing.
Oh that’s quite clever, missing the explanation out!
HA! Yes, it is the explanation that is missing. 😀 Your photo looks lonely and like it is missing something too.
Sorry to hear the raccoons are being a nuisance–if that is indeed what is happening, as I read between the lines here. Hope all is well now.
How interesting.
Missing.
I see all sorts of possibilities, that is, for things not seen.
I was missing you..hope you and the chicken survive the raccoon wars..stitching up chickens..goodness perhaps you you just butcher them..poor things:(
You certainly don’t seem to be missing action this week Lanny. Great interpretation of your scene, the simplicity of the shot makes it all the better.
