Reminds Me Of A Song by Irving Berlin

Posted by on April 3, 2009

I was blue,
just as blue as I could be
Evry day was a cloudy day for me
Then good luck came a-knocking at my door
Skies were gray but they’re not gray anymore
Blue skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see
Bluebirds
Singing a song
Nothing but bluebirds
All day long
Never saw the sun shining so bright
Never saw things going so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When youre in love, my how they fly
Blue days
All of them gone
Nothing but blue skies
From now on
I should care if the wind blows east or west
I should fret if the worst looks like the best
I should mind if they say it cant be true
I should smile, thats exactly what I do
The sky’s were blue a bit yesterday and certainly when I went out to take pictures. But the sentiment in this song is this: the feeling in a heart matters little to what is really in the sky.
Love may certainly have something to do with it but all love, all love that is real, and true and lasting, begins in God. God is Love. No matter the worldly look on a situation, in Jesus our situation is always a clear blue day
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1John 4:7-11
